XRAYED lets users create public publications and use private product features. Content becomes public when a user publishes it or otherwise makes it public. Private content is not treated as public marketing content unless the user separately publishes or authorizes that use.

Plain-English Summary

Public Content may be displayed, distributed, and promoted by XRAYED, including on Instagram, TikTok, XRAYED-owned websites, app listings, press, emails, and paid or organic marketing channels, subject to the Terms and Content Rights pages.

The current in-app marketing featuring opt-in is narrower: opted-in public publications, public Mirrors, and @handle on XRAYED-owned organic Instagram and TikTok only; never paid ads, never sold, and never non-public content.

Private content is treated differently. XRAYED may process private content to provide, protect, support, and improve the service, but private content is not Public Content unless the user makes it public.

XRAYED uses third-party service providers to help provide and protect the service. Security incidents can happen at XRAYED or at providers. The Security page explains the incident-response posture and the Privacy page explains what data may be processed.
