Account Deletion
This page explains how to initiate deletion of an XRAYED account.

Start A Request
Signed-in users can start account deletion through any available XRAYED account deletion control. When that control is not available in your client, contact support@xrayed.co from the email address associated with your XRAYED account and use the subject line "Account deletion request".
- Include your XRAYED username.
- State that you want XRAYED to delete your account.
- Do not include passwords, verification codes, sign-in links, private keys, or unnecessary sensitive information.
Verification
In-product deletion uses your signed-in account session as the owner confirmation. For email-assisted requests, XRAYED may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner before starting deletion. If ownership cannot be confirmed, XRAYED may ask for additional confirmation or decline to process the request until ownership can be confirmed.
What Deletion Covers
A verified account deletion request starts XRAYED's account lifecycle deletion process for account data, authored content, private product data, feedback linked to the account, and user-scoped usage records where deletion is required or reasonably feasible.
Authored public publications and private account-owned media are removed or queued for cleanup. Some storage cleanup can continue asynchronously after access ends. Other users' saved or generated records may survive as detached, de-identified records where they belong to those users rather than to the deleted account.
What May Remain
- Records needed for security, abuse prevention, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, audit, or legal compliance.
- Data in backups, logs, caches, distributed copies, provider systems, or legal/security archives until those systems expire or are overwritten under their normal retention cycles.
- Content already copied, exported, screenshotted, indexed, shared, reposted, or controlled by third parties.
- Already-published marketing, press, archive, or social materials where continued use is lawful and reasonably necessary.
Timing
XRAYED normally aims to acknowledge account deletion requests within 7 days and complete verified requests within 30 days. Some requests may take longer when verification, security review, abuse prevention, legal obligations, provider dependencies, backup cycles, or technical constraints require more time.
