Content Rights
This page explains the public/private content boundary and how XRAYED may use public publications and other public user-generated content.
Last updated June 22, 2026
Public Means Public
A publication is designed as a public object. When a publication is completed, it can appear in public feeds, on public pages, on public profiles, in social previews, in search or crawler results when indexing is enabled, and in share or export surfaces.
Other content becomes public only when XRAYED provides a publish action and the user uses that action. Public Content may be visible to logged-out visitors.
What XRAYED May Feature
XRAYED may feature Public Content as user-generated content in product, editorial, community, and marketing contexts. This can include:
- Public publications and their public images.
- Public responses, generated public assets, and share assets.
- Public usernames, handles, first-name attribution, profile links, and public publication metadata.
- Generated publication share assets, crops, overlays, watermarked versions, screenshots, excerpts, and short clips derived from public publications.
- Generated text, featured lines, publication headlines, captions, comments supplied to XRAYED, and related public text.
Where XRAYED May Use It
- XRAYED websites, feeds, landing pages, product pages, profile pages, and internal or external presentations.
- Instagram, TikTok, Meta platforms, other social platforms, and similar public distribution channels.
- Paid ads, organic posts, app store listings, press materials, investor or partner decks, email, and launch materials.
- Editorial roundups, creator showcases, trend examples, before-and-after product examples, and product education.
- Resized, cropped, captioned, watermarked, reformatted, or otherwise adapted versions needed for a channel or placement.
Current Marketing Featuring Opt-In
XRAYED's current in-app marketing featuring opt-in is narrower than the broader Public Content permission above. It covers opted-in public publications, public Mirrors, and @handle on XRAYED-owned organic Instagram and TikTok only; private saves, private Mirrors, and other non-public account information are excluded, and the current program is never paid ads and never sold.
No Extra Payment
Unless XRAYED signs a separate written agreement with you, XRAYED does not owe payment, royalties, residuals, approval rights, or additional compensation for using Public Content as allowed by the Terms.
What Stays Private
XRAYED does not treat private inputs as marketing content just because they were processed by the service. Private uploads, private generated assets, saved preferences, private analysis, account-scoped product history, and private account data are not public marketing assets unless you separately publish them or authorize that use.
Your Promises
When you upload, create, publish, or submit content, you promise that:
- You own the content or have the rights, permissions, releases, and consents needed for XRAYED to process and use it.
- People shown or identified in the content have consented where consent is required.
- The content does not violate copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, data-protection, platform, or other rights.
- The content does not contain private, harmful, unlawful, exploitative, deceptive, or infringing material.
- You will not submit content that makes XRAYED violate another platform's terms or advertising policies.
Objectionable Content And Abuse
XRAYED has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Do not publish content that is harassing, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit or exploitative, violent, illegal, or otherwise objectionable, and do not use XRAYED to abuse, threaten, or harass other people.
XRAYED provides tools to report content and to block other users from within the app. XRAYED reviews reports and acts on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours by removing the content and may suspend or remove the accounts of users who post objectionable content or behave abusively.
Child Safety Standards
XRAYED is for users 13 and older. XRAYED has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexual solicitation of minors, or any content or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, abuses, endangers, or targets minors.
Users must not upload, publish, request, generate, share, promote, or otherwise use XRAYED for content involving minors in a sexual, exploitative, abusive, private, or unsafe context.
XRAYED provides in-app tools to report content and accounts, and users can also contact support@xrayed.co with the URL and a clear explanation. XRAYED reviews child-safety reports promptly, removes violating content, may suspend or remove accounts, preserves records where appropriate, and reports apparent CSAE or CSAM to law enforcement, national or regional reporting bodies, or other authorities where required or appropriate under applicable law.
Removal Requests
If you believe public XRAYED content violates your rights, uses your likeness without permission, misattributes you, includes private information, or should be removed for safety reasons, contact support@xrayed.co with the URL and a clear explanation.
XRAYED may remove, hide, archive, restrict, correct, or decline to feature content at its discretion. XRAYED may also preserve records where needed for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or security.
Deletion Limits
Deleting a publication removes it from active XRAYED-controlled public product surfaces according to the product deletion behavior. It may not remove copies that were already exported, screenshotted, indexed, cached, reposted, shared, scheduled, included in completed marketing materials, stored in backups, or controlled by third parties.
